A Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib) Apprenticeship is 1-year duration course that blends classroom instruction with real-world library experience. Offering worthwhile work experience improves employability and may result in employment chances at libraries or other relevant organizations. Typically, enrollment in or completion of a B.Lib program is required for eligibility. Universities, libraries, or government agencies provide these apprenticeships to help students develop their professional library science abilities. Students acquire practical experience in fields such as digital archiving, cataloging, information retrieval, and user services.
